Macmillan Cancer Support

The Diona Construction team came together for a charity coffee morning in support of Macmillan Cancer Support and the turnout was incredible. 💚

From homemade bakes to a few well-earned tea breaks on site, it was a chance for everyone across the business to pause, connect, and support a cause that touches so many lives. The generosity and spirit shown by the team truly reflects the culture we’re proud to build every day.

Our thoughts are with those currently battling cancer, those supporting loved ones through it, and those remembering someone special. Today was about more than just raising funds it was about showing care, community, and compassion.

Thank you to everyone who contributed, donated, and took part. Together, we’re stronger.

Pink Digger

Diona Construction are proud to introduce the newest addition to our fleet, specially commissioned to support and raise awareness for cancer and the importance of early detection.

Cancer has affected many lives connected to our workforce and the regions we operate in. As we continue delivering major telecommunications and civil engineering works across East Renfrewshire, Ayrshire and Stirling, this digger will act as a visible reminder to pause, reflect, and recognise the importance of early diagnosis and ongoing support for those affected.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to our partners HRN and Kubota for their support in bringing this project to life. Together, we hope this initiative helps raise awareness, spark important conversations, and demonstrate our ongoing commitment to supporting both our people and the wider community.

The Layton Open

Diona Construction were proud to support and take part in the Layton Open at Gleneagles, a fantastic day dedicated to fundraising and bringing people together for a meaningful cause. The event showcased great sportsmanship, strong community spirit, and a shared commitment to making a positive difference.

Congratulations to all of the winners and participants who made the day such a success. It was inspiring to see colleagues, partners, and supporters unite in support of Layton and the wider fundraising efforts.
