NRSWA Streetworks Training

Our NRSWA Streetworks training equips operatives and supervisors with the competencies required to carry out highway works safely and in compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act, current legislation and CABWI standards. The programme covers legal requirements, safety procedures and best practice for working on public roads and footpaths.

EUSR SHEA Telecoms, Power & Gas Training

Our instructor-led EUSR SHEA courses provide a comprehensive, standardised approach to health, safety and environmental awareness across telecoms, power and gas utility sectors. The training aligns with HSE guidelines and industry best practice, equipping personnel with the knowledge required to identify, assess and manage workplace risks safely and effectively.

SSSTS/SMSTS- Site Safety Plus

Our CITB Site Safety Plus training programmes are designed for supervisors, managers and business owners responsible for managing health, safety and compliance on construction sites. These industry-recognised courses ensure personnel understand legal duties, risk management and safe site practices.

• SSSTS – for first-line supervisors managing site safety
• Covers legislation, toolbox talks and risk assessments
• SMSTS – for project managers and senior site managers
• Focus on CDM Regulations and Health & Safety at Work Act
• CITB Site Safety Plus certification valid for 5 years

PIA Smart Awards - SA002 & SA006

Our Smart Awards training supports operatives working on underground telecommunications and civil engineering networks, ensuring safe working practices and full compliance with industry standards, including Openreach requirements.

• SA002 Underground Safety – hazard identification and gas testing
• Safe manual handling of underground structures
• Certificate valid for 3 years
• SA006 Safe Working in Civils – mandatory for telecoms networks
• Covers risk assessments, site safety and utility drawings

First Aid & Mental Health Training

Our CITB Site Safety Plus training programmes are designed for supervisors, managers and business owners responsible for managing health, safety and compliance on construction sites. These industry-recognised courses ensure personnel understand legal duties, risk management and safe site practices.

Emergency First Aid at Work
• 3 Day First Aid at Work certification
• Delivered through FAIB accredited programmes
• Mental Health awareness and workplace support training
• Suitable for construction, utilities and civil engineering environments

Confined Spaces Training

This course prepares operatives for safe working within medium-risk confined space environments through realistic simulated training scenarios. It focuses on safe entry and exit procedures, hazard awareness and effective emergency response planning.

• Safe entry and exit procedures

• Certification for entrant and entry controller roles

Abrasive Wheels Training

Our abrasive wheels training ensures operatives can safely select, inspect, mount and operate cutting and grinding equipment in line with HSE HSG17 guidance. The course focuses on safe working practices, hazard awareness and correct use of equipment across construction, fabrication and maintenance environments.

• Safe selection, inspection and mounting of abrasive wheels
• Correct operation of cutting and grinding equipment
• Hazard awareness including vibration, dust and wheel breakage
• Compliance with HSE HSG17 safety guidance
• Includes Qualitative Face Fit Testing for RPE in use

SVQ/NVQ Training Programmes
